The territory of the province of Novara, like other Piedmont territories, has a strong environmental diversification: from the plain to the south, cultivated mainly in rice, to the hilly area that begins to expand north of the city of Novara. The northernmost part is characterized by the relief areas but above all the two lakes the Maggiore and the D'Orta, pearl of these lands.
There are numerous parks and nature reserves that attract the most dynamic tourism. From an architectural point of view, this province has 110 structures of castles, fortifications and towers of various sizes. A real primacy.
Also noted are agro-food products, in particular Gorgonzola cheese, honey and sweets, in a thousand and more types of biscuits and small pastries.
